Providence Global Center recently launched in Hyderabad, India as Global Capability Center for Providence looking to leverage the India talent to help meet our global vision and scale our Information Services and products to the world of Cloud.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own database support for software development & applications projects.
  • Plan, schedule & implement upgrades, patches, and migrations.
  • Develop, implement and test backup and recovery.
  • Monitor and tune databases and server capacity.


  • Install and configure Oracle (IaaS and PaaS) or InterSystem Cache in Microsoft Azure.
  • Working knowledge of databases
  • Expertise to plan database storage (SAN, NAS, local) capacity.
  • Capability to configure database use of assigned storage
  • Ability to create, execute and reach project management deliverables, milestones, tasks, contingency plans, resources and communications.


  • 2-7 years of experience in related fields



  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field education/experience.
